My internship is to collect information about lagff on social media and make a collection by taking screenshots. On the one hand, the internship has also enhanced my teamwork and communication skills. In communicating with Dr. Zacharia and the supervisor, I need to explain my strengths and interests to determine the specific work content. In addition, I also need to share the results of each other's work with another student in charge of the same work to ensure that we do not overlap at work. These communications not only improved my expression ability, but also taught me to listen to other people's voices.
On the other hand, since we have focused on analyzing the meaning of the film to be released in lagff for the whole semester, the internship has greatly enhanced the experience and participation of the course. These Greek films show Greek ideology, self-cognition, social appearance, history, and culture from different angles. By browsing the posts on social media and their comments, I learned people's views on Greek culture. By comparing people's views and my ideas through lectures, I have a better understanding of CLAR4270's interpretation of representation and cultural communication.
When we analyze how the director reflects Greek society and identity with some plots in the film, we focus on the shaping and dissemination of culture, which corresponds to the theme of CLAR4270. During the internship, I experienced this process first-on. Although I did not explain and show Greek culture from my perspective, I completed the dissemination of culture by collecting posts on social media. Lagff's internship brings people together, provides a platform for cross-cultural communication, and makes us truly a part of the dissemination of Greek culture and spiritual core.
